Home bleaching is used to whitining vital teeth, where the patient applies the product at home under the dentist's supervision. Carbamide peroxide breaks down into hydrogen peroxide, which releases oxygen ions ir penetrate inside dental surface (enamel and dentin), oxidizing pigments and making teeth whiter. Its formula is extremely safe and has a neutral pH, preventing any enamel or dentin demineralization.
Basic Formulation
Carbamide Peroxide - active ingredient at 10%,16%,22%,34% Purified Water - diluent Sodium Fluoride - fluoride source (remineralizing) Potassium Nitrate - desensitizing agent Distilled Glycerin - structuring and moisturizing agent Carbomer - thickener
Main Characteristics
Clear gel with few or no bubbles; Uses Carbopol as a thickener; Contains dental desensitizer and fluoride; Can be composed of carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide; Peroxide concentrations can vary based on the customer.
