This product is used to isolate soft tissues (gums and cheeks) during procedures, commonly employed in dental o ce whitening procedures to ensure the integrity of oral soft tissues. The light-curable gingival barrier is a monomeric resin that, when exposed to blue light (light-curing unit), initiates the polymerization process, a chain reaction that increases the molecular weight, "hardening" the product.
